Classes incorporate yoga and mindfulness activities that help children/youth (from preschool through high school) connect to themselves and their community; develop focus and concentration; find strength, balance, and confidence; recognize and regulate emotions; and learn to nurture themselves. Together, the client, and myself, the facilitator, will be building a yoga and wellness discipline to encompass breathing, meditation, mindfulness,
and asana (physical poses) practices. Concentrating on locating and identifying spaces of stress, whether conscious or subconscious. Raising awareness of your body and mind's coping mechanisms. Creating tools to empower the person to release any tension,
and ease the mind.
